There are many different ways to learn how to play online poker, whether that’s through books, online poker sites, blogs or simply learning as you play poker online. One of the best ways to get your head around the game, as well as pick up great tips and tricks that are often overlooked, is through poker YouTube channels.

There are literally hundreds of YouTube channels that will teach you how to play poker as well as give you insights into the more detailed aspects of the game. However, you don’t want to learn from just any poker player or channel, do you? You want to get your knowledge from the best online poker channels!

With this in mind, let’s reveal our list of the top poker YouTube channels to watch in 2022.

Live at the Bike!

Live at the Bike! or LATB, as it’s become known, is more of a “learn while you watch” experience than a series of direct instructions. This channel streams live cash games from Twitch and its website, featuring the best highlights from these games, which means you don’t have to sit through hours of content.

These aren’t super-high-stakes games, but at times they do raise the blinds and have hosted “Million Dollar Cash Games” every now and then. The most impressive thing about this channel is the caliber of poker players that it gets to come onto the show. Just some of the “poker royalty” that LATB has hosted include 15-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, online poker legends Daniel Cates and Antonio Esfandiari.

Andrew Neeme

Not only is Andrew Neeme a talented poker player, he’s also one of the most famous poker vloggers of all time and he has more than 170,000 subscribers to his channel. Neeme was originally a marketing agent at a music label, but he quit his career to focus on playing poker online full time. He then switched over to live cash games.

Neeme only started videoing his games in October 2016 but quickly jumped to the top of the YouTube charts with regards to viewers, as he garnered thousands of subscribers throughout the weeks in November 2016. He’s only gone up from that point.

Brad Owen

Like Neeme, Brad Owen is a vlogger who videos his poker games for others to follow and learn from. Based in Las Vegas, subscribers can watch him play live cash games against a variety of opponents.

Owen started his poker vlogging journey just after Neeme in December 2016, but his rise to fame took a lot longer. He videoed solidly for two years before he started to gain traction but now he has considerably more subscribers than the ever-popular Neeme does.

Doug Polk Poker

If you follow poker tournaments at all, then you’ll have heard of someone by the name of Doug Polk. This is a guy who has three WSOP bracelets, including the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop event for $3.867 million in 2017. He is also the player behind the screen name “WCHRider” who used to play high-stakes online heads-up games early on in his career.

Now, don’t expect a YouTube channel that follows the script, here. Polk is known for going against the grain in almost everything that he does, and one day he might do a hand-analysis video and the next he could do an hour-long interview, a look at his poker tournament strategy or even a poker news recap. You just don’t know what you’re going to get next, though you do know you’re always going to learn something new and interesting.

Also, Polk loves to get into a bit of drama with other poker players and his views tend to rub others up the wrong way, so expect plenty of that too. Take a look back at his public beef with the owner of the channel that is up next in our list, Daniel Negreanu.

Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu is definitely one of the most famous poker figures in the world, with six WSOP bracelets to his name. He has been in the public eye for his poker for decades; he’s taken part in the most famous poker shows like NBC’s Poker After Dark and the Game Show Network’s High Stakes Poker

Negreanu was also the top live tournament earner between 2014 and 2018. On his channel, he does incredible WSOP vlogs and records himself in Vegas every summer preparing for the World Series events.

You can also expect to see some of his podcasts on current issues in the poker industry that he sporadically uploads. Just like Polk, he is a controversial figure that often gets a reaction from other famous poker players for his somewhat strong opinions.
