Atlantic City poker tournaments in November have started with the thrilling The Friday Fifteen event. This exciting two-day event is hosted by Borgata and takes place on November 18th. Competitors in this poker event will have a chance to take home their share of a guaranteed $250,000 prize pool.
The buy-in for The Friday Fifteen is $1,500 ($1,350 + $150) and will get you a 35,000 Starting Stack. The Deep Stack No Limit Hold’Em format will be used and will feature a total of 24 levels, each of which is 40 minutes long. If a player goes bust before Level 9, they will be able to buy-in again and re-enter the event.
If you’d like to secure a spot and avoid disappointment, early registration is recommended. You can register online for the poker tournament between November 1st and November 14th. If you’d prefer to register in person, you sign up at the Borgata Poker Cage from 11 AM on November 15th, or on the 18th at the Friday Fifteen poker tournament from 9 AM.
Paying the buy-in isn’t the only way to take part in the Friday Fifteen event. Those with the right poker skills can secure a spot through three live online poker satellite tournaments. These qualifying events are scheduled for November 15th, 16th and 17th. Each event has a different buy-in cost, as well as a limited number of entry prizes for The Friday Fifteen. The details for the qualifying events are as follows:
- Tuesday, November 15: $75 +$25, 1 in 20 chance to win a $1,500 Entry to play the Friday Fifteen
- Wednesday, November 16: $150 +$30, 1 in 10 chance to win a $1,500 Entry to play the Friday Fifteen
- Thursday, November 17: $300 +$50, 1 in 5 chance to win a $1,500 Entry to play the Friday Fifteen
