Borgata Winter Poker Open boasts $10,000,000 in GTDs, biggest in Borgata Poker history
JERSEY CITY, NJ – (November 30, 2023) – BetMGM Poker is the exclusive home for online qualifiers for the Borgata Winter Poker Open which features 22 main events and over $10,000,000 in guarantees. The New Year begins with the biggest guarantees in Borgata Poker history and one of the largest North American poker series of 2024.
Starting in December, BetMGM Poker players in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania can win seats to the Borgata Winter Poker Open powered by BetMGM which runs from January 2 through January 26.

Starting December 3, daily qualifiers ranging from $5 to $600 will offer players opportunities to win seats and packages to the following Borgata Winter Poker Open events:
- Event #1 | $2,000,000 GTD Kickoff Deep Stack | $800 buy-in
- Event #5 | $1,000,000 GTD Almighty Million | $500 buy-in
- Event #10 | $2,000,000 GTD “Half a Milly” Mystery Bounty | $2,200 buy-in
- Event #20 | $3,000,000 GTD Winter Poker Open Championship | $5,300 buy-in
Each Wednesday from December 3 – 27, players can enter $215 qualifiers to win Borgata seat-only packages. These packages award entry to the $800 buy-in Kickoff and $500 buy-in Almighty Million events, plus travel credit and a BetMGM Poker swag bag.
Each Sunday from December 10 – January 14, players can enter $600 qualifiers to win Borgata Poker travel packages to punch their ticket early to Atlantic City. These packages award entry to the $5,300 Borgata Winter Poker Open Championship, a four-night hotel stay from January 21 – 25, travel credit, and a BetMGM Poker swag bag.
Seat-only qualifiers for individual events will run nightly, from Thursday, December 28 through Saturday, January 20 in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Seat-only qualifiers will award tournament entries to the Kickoff, Almighty Million, Mystery Bounty, and Winter Poker Open Championship.
Players can also pursue their path to the Borgata Winter Poker Open by reserving their seats online. Online Registration for the Kickoff, Almighty Million, Mystery Bounty, and Borgata Winter Poker Open Championship opens December 3 exclusively on BetMGM Poker. Online registration for all Borgata Winter Poker Open events closes at 2:05 a.m EST the day of the event. All players that qualify or register online for the 2024 Borgata Winter Poker Open are eligible for BetMGM Poker’s Winter Poker Open on-property Spin the Wheel promotion.
In January 2023, Borgata’s “The Return” crowned the first poker millionaire and nearly doubled the $3,000,000 guarantee.
